New Home Watch is operated by TGH Software LLC, 7585 N Pasture View Rd, Eagle Mountain, UT 84005. Contact: tom@tghsoftwarellc.com. This page explains what we collect when you use newhomewatch.net or text us, and how we use it.

What we collect

Account email and password when you create an account, plus a session cookie so you stay signed in. Billing details are handled by Stripe when you subscribe; we see your email and subscription status, not your full card number. If you set digest preferences (cities, trades, or project types), we store those on your account. We keep basic server and hosting logs such as IP address, request path, and timestamps, plus the page-view and ad measurement data described under Analytics and advertising. If you text us or give us your mobile number, we keep that number and the message thread so we can reply.

Permit rows on this site come from public Utah County records. We show parcel site addresses for permits. We do not sell homeowner phone numbers, and we do not contact permit holders for you.

How we use it

We use this information to run your account, process payments, show the paid digest, send account emails (trial reminders and, while you subscribe, a Monday email of new permits in your cities), improve the service, prevent abuse, and respond when you contact us by email or text. We do not sell personal information.

Analytics and advertising

Vercel Web Analytics. We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages people use. It does not use cookies. It records the page address, referring site, and general device, browser, and country information, and it does not build a profile of you across other websites. We remove Stripe checkout session ids from the page addresses it records.

Meta Pixel. When it is turned on, a Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel tells Meta that a browser that saw our ads visited a page, clicked to subscribe, or completed checkout, so we can measure and improve those ads. Meta may set a cookie and receive the page address, your IP address, and browser details, and may link that to your Meta account under Meta's own privacy policy. We do not send Meta your email, phone number, name, or payment details, and we turn off its automatic collection of button and form details.

Ad campaign tags. If you reach us from one of our ads or links, your browser stores the first campaign tags it sees (such as utm_campaign), the page you landed on, the name of the referring site, and whether the link came from a Meta ad (not the click id itself) for up to 30 days. If you then start a trial or subscribe, we save those tags with your subscription record in Stripe, where they stay with that record, so we know which ad or link worked. They contain no personal information.

How to opt out. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load the Meta Pixel at all. You can also block third-party cookies or use a content blocker, change your ad settings at facebook.com/adpreferences, or opt out of interest-based ads at optout.aboutads.info. Blocking these does not affect your account or the digest.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number or text us at (385) 314-3780, you consent to receive text messages from TGH Software LLC (New Home Watch) about your inquiry, account, and service updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Mobile information will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Service providers

We use Stripe for payments, Vercel to host the site and count page views, Meta to measure our ads (see Analytics and advertising), Brevo to send account emails, email to reach support, and Quo (OpenPhone) to send and receive business texts. Those providers process data to provide their services to us; Meta also uses Pixel data under its own terms.

Retention

We keep account and preference data while your account is open, billing records as long as Stripe and tax rules require, and text threads for as long as we need them to support you or meet legal duties. Server logs are kept for a short operational period.

Your choices

You can cancel in the Stripe billing portal, turn off the weekly permits email with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of it, reply STOP to end texts, or email tom@tghsoftwarellc.com to ask for access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

New Home Watch is for business customers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

If we update this policy, we will change the effective date on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
