Utah County Assessor — recent building permits

Contains permits forwarded by Utah County cities on their own schedules. Not every city permit arrives: 2 of 14 Orem single-family permits (Aug 25 – Sep 29, 2026) were present on our Orem page on Oct 6. A matching permit number in Saratoga Springs is a different permit and is not counted as Orem coverage.

NEW/COMMERCIAL is excluded by our filter. No builder, valuation or application date fields.

Window: permits dated 2026-08-23 to 2026-10-08 (45 days).

What is and is not included

This list covers Utah County only. It does not cover the rest of Utah or any other state.

New single-family, townhome/high density and multi-family permits that Utah County cities forward to the county. Some cities arrive late or only in part; see known gaps.
Salt Lake City · Not included
The city's public permit layer has not added a record since April 2025, and its reuse terms are not confirmed.
Utah State Construction Registry · Under review
Registry filings are notices about projects, not permits; whether and how to use them is being evaluated.
Orem (city monthly permit PDF) · Under review
Orem publishes monthly building-permit PDFs with builder and valuation. An open-source PDF table parser is wired for fixtures only; reuse rights are unreviewed. Not included in the paid list.
Provo (city permit map) · Under review
Provo publishes new-construction permits with builder and valuation on its public project map. We have asked the city for permission to include them; until it answers, Provo city records are not in the paid list.
Saratoga Springs (city permit map) · Under review
Saratoga Springs publishes issued new-home permits on its public permit map, often weeks before they reach the county layer. We have asked the city for permission to include them; until it answers, Saratoga Springs city records are not in the paid list.

A city that is not listed had no addressed new-home permit in the window. “None in window” means the source answered and had nothing; it does not prove the city issued none.

Orem · checked 2026-10-06
Orem’s own permit report lists 14 single-family dwelling permits dated Aug 25 – Sep 29, 2026. The county layer carried 2 of them on our Orem page; 12 are not yet in that source (including one whose city permit number collides with a Saratoga Springs county record). Orem permits reach this list late or not at all. Builder and valuation appear in the city PDF but are not sold here.

Cities forward permits to the county on their own schedules. On Oct 6 the county added about 28 new-home permits dated Aug 26 – Sep 15 in one batch, so a permit date says little about when a record became visible.
